This entry is related to my earlier post on
modeling the human brain. I was reading a post on
biomimicry, and it seemed to eerily reflect my statement that we do not know much about natural mechanisms. Granted, these are great examples of optimizations we have made from observing nature, but we still have a lot to learn and build on. Progress in this area excites me, but it also aggravates me to think of what we still don't know...
